Maverick Media announces The American Maverick Show has been nominated for Blog Bash's "Best in Show for Podcast of the Year Award". The annual awards are presented at the annual gathering of conservative bloggers and new media moguls during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Conservative talk host Flint Engleman is thrilled,
"No one is more plugged into the conservative mindset than the movers and shakers of the national bloggers at Blog Bash. Their nomination is an honor to the work our show produced in 2014 to confront Common Core, expose illegal immigration and hold elected officials accountable."
In 2014, The American Maverick Show was on the forefront of political coverage. Host Flint Engleman was the first podcast to interview Dave Brat prior to his primary triumph over Eric Cantor for Congress. Also, his October, 2014, interview with Ed Gillespie put the U.S. Senate candidate on the record to oppose amnesty for immigration reform before any other media source.
The American Maverick Show will be on-air live for CPAC 2015. We'll be on CPAC Radio Row for the third straight year with lively conservative commentary and a full line-up of guests. Also, our co-host Phillip Stucky will be there with a young conservative's perspective of CPAC.
