According to The Drudge Report, Fox News is making a big change to their prime time broadcast schedule after September 1. This will be the first change in Fox's prime time line-up in ten years.
The Drudge Report states that highly regarded Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly, will take over the 9:00PM Eastern time slot on Fox News Channel. Kelly is recognized as a powerful news personality on Fox and in the media biz.
Now the speculation begins about Sean Hannity. Will he move to a different time slot and stay in prime time? No one knows for sure at this point. Surprising to many, Hannity's viewers and listeners have been in a slow decline for the past nine months on his television and radio show.
Further questions continue about the rest of the line up. What will happen to Greta Van Sustern's "On The Record" show at 10:00pm Eastern? Evidently Van Sustern's contract with Fox News guarantees her a "prime time" slot. So, again, where will Hannity go?
Fox News will be making a formal announcement relatively soon and begin promoting the new line up thereafter.
