The 40th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) starts this Thursday just outside of the Washington beltway in National Harbor, Maryland. Several notable Virginians are slated to speak to the conservative movement's largest annual gathering.
For Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli,, the limelight will shine pretty bright on Thursday. Cuccinelli will be the first major speaker for CPAC. His remarks will kick-off three days of speakers considered the "who's who" of conservatism. Cuccinelli is seeking the Republican nomination for Virginia's Governor.
Other Virginians who will participate at CPAC include: Congressman Eric Cantor, Congressman Randy Forbes, Kate Obenshain, Michael Coger, and Artur Davis. Governor Bob McDonnell will be the keynote speaker for the Faith and Freedom Coalition Prayer Breakfast held in tandem with CPAC's Friday morning events.
