The Virginia Chapter of Americans for Prosperity has a bit of a change for their top position within the Commonwealth.
Reportedly, former Americans for Prosperity Virginia State Director Audrey Jackson has stepped down from her position. Mrs. Jackson led a strong core AFP staff and engaged thousands of grassroots activists throughout Virginia. Jackson was strong with promoting AFP's positions to the media as well as holding state and local officials accountable in support of free markets and economic prosperity.
As reported, Mrs. Jackson has now joined the campaign staff for Attorney General candidate Mark Obenshain. She will head the state wide effort by the campaign to encourage voters to serve as delegates in support of Mark Obenshain at the Republican Party of Virginia's State Convention on May 18.
At this posting, AFP has not selected a new State Director for Virginia.
