The 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is closer than you think! What many consider the conservative "Super Bowl" is approaching. CPAC 2013 will be March 14-16 just outside of Washington, D.C.
For conservatives, CPAC is the ultimate political experience. Three days of non-stop speakers from every aspect of conservatism will be there. From U.S. Senators to Governors to conservative media personalities, this is the place to be. Plus, there are many outstanding breakout sessions focused on everything from energy independence to free markets to national defense.
As mentioned, this is the 40th anniversary of CPAC. Every year there is a designated keynote speaker that speaks at the close of the conference. Former keynote speakers range from Ronald Reagan to Rush Limbaugh to Glenn Beck to last year's keynote speaker, Sarah Palin. CPAC will announce this year's keynote speaker sometime in February.
CPAC is fully coordinated by the American Conservative Union (ACU) headed by Chairman Al Cardenas. The ACU has released the first confirmed speakers with more soon to come. Here is the list so far: Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Jim DeMint, Susana Martinez, Ron Paul, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Tim Scott.
To top it all off, this year CPAC will have a fantastic new location! The host venue for CPAC 2013 is the sparkling new, massive Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center. Gaylord National is located on the shores of the Potomac River near the Capitol Beltway (I-495) just south of D.C. at National Harbor, Maryland.
Final word to my fellow conservatives. If you are into politics and love conservatism, this is the place to be! Truly this is the "Super Bowl of Conservatism". Save the date and register for a fantastic experience.
