Forget the Arab Spring, this is an all out Ring of Fire in the Middle East.  From Tunisia to Egypt to far East Bangladesh, Muslim nations have erupted in protests directed at American embassies and interests.

There is a lot of breaking news ongoing for you to check, but here are some comments and facts I've nailed down to provide some perspective...

First of all, the line being delivered by the Obama administration about a American video with anti-Muslim images caused this whole uproar is nothing but deception.  The video has not gone super viral like other videos with worldwide reach.  So, not that many have actually viewed the video in question.  The administration is feeding the public a bunch of bunk.  They are attempting to cover their hind quarters from not acting on known intelligence of the planned attacks on Libya and Egypt.

The true, core reason for this eruption of protests is the anniversary of 9/11 and the Obama administration's taunting of the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

Here's some bullet point factoids about the situation:
  • Eery coincidence.  In 1979, with Jimmy Carter as President the following same incidents occurred.  Attack on U.S. Embassies in Pakistan and Libya.  And, most memorable, our Embassy in Iran was attacked resulting in 8 American deaths and 52 hostages held for 444 days.  In addition, the last American Ambassador was killed in 1979 in Kabul Afghanistan.
  • Libyan Consulate.  The embassy did not have Marines guarding the compound.  The security was provided by a Middle East security contractor.  The compound is considered a low defense, lock and key security set-up.  The compound had no heavy weapons, defense walls, low guard numbers, and no armor or bulletproof glass.  Libyan and Egyptian officials stated there was known intelligence 48 hours in advance that the American Consulate was a target.
  • Ring of Fire Explodes!  This started in Egypt and Libya.  Now protests have spread throughout the Middle East and to other countries.  Here's where protests have been reported: Yemen, Tunisia, Pakistan, Morocco, Israel (U.S. Embassy), Iraq, Bangladesh, and Iran.
  • U.S. Foreign Aid.  Annually, Egypt receives $3.2 Billion, and Libya receives $206 Million.
Again, there is ongoing breaking news about the situation.  The American Maverick will highlight what the mainstream media (MSM) fails to cover.  Stay tuned!
