It's official! The dates and locations for Virginia's 5th District Congressional debates have been agreed to by the Democrats and Congressman Robert Hurt's campaign. After weeks of publicity antics by Democrat candidate Douglass, the real stage is now set for Congressman Robert Hurt have the opportunity to clearly differentiate his character and record versus the challenger.
There will be two debates. One held in the most Southern area of the district, Danville, and the other in the most Northern area, Warrenton. Danville will be the first on October 10. Warrenton will be the host city for the final debate on October 15.

It is quite interesting how the most liberal city, Charlottesville, in the district will not host a debate. The Warrenton site will favor Douglass who resides in Fauquier County. Congressman Robert Hurt has a fairly favorable location in Danville. As the Congressman resides nearby in Chatham.
