Today is the day!  President Barack Obama hold on to your ego.  The Supreme Court will make it's decision about the Constitutionality of the "Affordable" Care Act.  Also, the U.S. House of Representatives will take a formal vote today to charge U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder with criminal contempt.

Let's take on the Supreme Court decision.  If the court seriously wounds Obama care, the bill will in essence implode.  Here's the scenario.  With the court deciding to strike the insurance mandate, the act will fail.  The insurance mandate is essential to fund and sustain the act.  So, the act will not have to have a total knock down to fail.

President Obama is likely to use a strong decision by the Supreme Court as fuel for his re-election.  Obama has already integrated a "give me four more years to finish the job" theme.  He has been using this verbiage since early May.  It is rumored Obama found out the Supreme Court decision some time ago by Justice Kagan.

And, now the action across the street from the Supreme Court.

The U.S. House of Representatives passes judgement on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder today.  Holder has been involved in a 'duck and weave', 'smoke and mirrors' machine for over a year about Operation Fast & Furious.  Holder has been holding out on providing the documentation subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.  The Oversight Committee voted last week to move forward with placing Holder in contempt for stonewalling information necessary for investigating the level of involvement and authorization of Operation Fast and Furious.  Now the whole of the Congress will take action of placing Eric Holder under criminal contempt.  There are reports that several Democrats will break ranks and vote for the charges against Holder.

My oh my, the White House spin room, err, communications team will be in overdrive to control damage to Barack's policy and people.  If it is anything like his initial response to the health care hearings in March, you can expect his progressive arrogance to be front and center.  And any sign of humility to be non-existent.  Obama and his minions have had weeks to prepare for different scenarios.  So, no matter the fall out, you can guarantee they'll have something in their playbook ready to spin it to the media and America.
