Tuesday is the day for Virginia voters to make their choice for Republican candidate for United States Senate. Polls open throughout the Commonwealth at 6:00am Tuesday, June 12. Voters will make a choice between four candidates for the GOP nomination. Including: Governor George Allen, Delegate Bob Marshall, Bishop E.W. Jackson and Jamie Radtke.
George Allen has raised his sights on November by asking voters to turn out to support him on Tuesday. Allen is appealing to voters to have a solid showing at the polls. In essence, to 'send a message' to opponent Tim Kaine's campaign that the Allen campaign has the support and organization to win. Win not just in the primary, but the drive and voter intensity to win the general election on November 6.
Allen has increased his already busy event schedule to ramp up voter turn out for Tuesday's primary. Allen and his wife, Susan, have been criss crossing the Commonwealth for months leading up to the primary. Allen will have his last campaign events in Stafford and Ashburn to round out his primary bid.
George Allen's experience, focus and campaign structure position him to be the best candidate to win versus former DNC Chair Tim Kaine. Governor Allen's focus is on the mark to increase opportunities for job and economic growth. He understands the necessity of repealing job killing regulations that are impeding businesses. Allen firmly grasps the opportunity for the Commonwealth and America to unleash our energy potential to further spur the economy. Can Allen win? Yes, he has assembled a very effective campaign and communications team. And, rallied Virginian's with his message of jobs, energy and debt reduction.
November is coming. George Allen is looking for the voters to send a message this Tuesday to let Tim Kaine know the game is on and the clock is ticking.
