An exclusive interview with Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell was conducted by American Maverick Editor Flint Engleman. His remarks were delivered to The American Maverick Blog on Saturday in Louisa, Virginia, at a event in support of State Senator Bryce Reeves.
Governor Bob McDonnell returned to Virginia this week after a trip to Europe. His mission was to talk with CEO's in several countries to secure trade agreements to import and export business for the Commonwealth.
Governor McDonnell spoke about several agreements bringing jobs and commerce to Virginia. One agreement will bring approximately 160 jobs to Clark County. Other agreements will be announced in coming weeks. In addition, Governor McDonnell stated that several European CEO's want to do more business with the Commonwealth, but they were leery about our own debt and economic situation. He added they were also looking for a change in the White House as a positive sign for them to green light many additional and lucrative deals to support Virginia's exports and import of commerce.
The Governor also made a statement during the interview that hinted at a forthcoming announcement regarding a substantial surplus for the state for the end of this quarter.
The exclusive, full interview can be heard on this week's broadcast of The American Maverick Show on BlogTalkRadio.com beginning at 8:00pm EDT Sunday.
