A high level strategist to Barack Obama, Hilary Rosen, made disparaging remarks on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 against Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's wife, Ann Romney.  Amidst a firestorm of rebuke from conservative women, Rosen again reiterated her disdain for Ann Romney the very next day.

Here are some of Barack Obama's strategist, Hilary Rosen's statements,
"What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country, saying, 'Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues, and when I listen to my wife, that's what I'm hearing.' Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life," Rosen said.
"She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing, in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future," Rosen continued, adding that Romney "just seems so old fashioned when it comes to women."
Hilary Rosen is a close confidant to Barack Obama.  Rosen is a very regular visitor to the White House according to visitor records.  She serves in a liaison role to bridge Obama's Presidential image with the direction of his re-election campaign.  She continues to be in a lead strategy position for Obama and the Democrat National Committee.
Ann Romney

Ann Romney has had a full time commitment to her family and health.  Ann continues to have a full speaking role throughout the country at public rallies in support of Mitt.  Ann raised five sons and supported the needs of their large family including grandkids.  She has had an active role in many charity leadership positions for years.  In addition, Ann battled and won against breast cancer.  She also remains strong in her battle to overcome Multiple Sclerosis.

Rosen sharpened her tone further versus Ann Romney on a social network posting the next day.  Rosen stated,
"When I said @AC360 Ann Romney never worked I meant she never had to care for her kids and earn a paycheck like most American women.  ...She (Ann Romney) should stop saying that she is Mitt Romney's guide to economic problems.  She doesn't have any!"
Several political analysts concur that this may be a larger strategy against the Romney image.  Fox New's Digital Political Editor, Chris Stirewalt, stated this may be a strategy by the Obama campaign to tear down the good, solid image of Ann Romney and the Romney family, in general.
