TAM PREDICTOR SELECTS ROMNEY TO WIN NEVADA, MAINE CAUCUS

Now that Florida's primary is over, the focus will turn on several caucus and primaries throughout the month of February.  Next up is Saturday's GOP caucuses in Nevada and Maine.

The American Maverick has been on quite a roll starting with the Iowa caucus.  The American Maverick (TAM) Predictor has accurately selected the winner and most of the other places for each contest since Iowa.  The TAM Predictor uses actual polling data from Real Clear Politics, Rasmussen and other polling firms to project a winner.  Our TAM Predictor only uses polling data collected within 36 hours of a election.  This indicates the actual momentum by a candidate to win.

For Nevada, the TAM Predictor selects Mitt Romney to win.  The most recent data indicates he has a 20% margin over second place Newt Gingrich.  Here's the Nevada overall prediction:
  1. Mitt Romney
  2. Newt Gingrich
  3. Rick Santorum
  4. Ron Paul
For Maine, the TAM Predictor selects Mitt Romney to win on Saturday.  Data indicates Romney has a slimmer lead compared to Nevada versus Gingrich.  Romney has a 6% lead in a older poll.  The margin may be tighter among Paul and Santorum as well.  Here's the Maine overall prediction:
  1. Mitt Romney
  2. Newt Gingrich
  3. Ron Paul
  4. Rick Santorum
The TAM candidate predictor is a compilation of key polling data acquired within the last three days prior to a election.  TAM, The American Maverick, is a dynamic news and politics blog providing straightforward commentary on key issues facing America.
