Santorum opened with a unifying message for tea party and conservatives to unite to bring victory for the Republicans in November. Speaking of the tea party and conservatives, he said, "We are the Republican party!"
The Presidential candidate then delivered his campaign message to the throngs of anxious conservatives. He espoused the virtues of conservatism, and how important those principles would be to his administration. Stating he would, "...surround myself with strong leaders that share our values and believe in conservatism." Santorum profoundly stated, "I am a game changer for America." He said he would, '...tackle the huge national debt'. His debt reduction plan would work year after year, "Until our fiscal house is in order." Other key areas he would address include Obamacare, energy production, reducing government involvement with financial services, and economic growth.
In closing, Santorum stated we're not going to win with money." Referring to the Obama campaign's war chest. Continuing, "We're going to win with ideas."
The CPAC gatherers applauded and cheered Rick Santorum as he concluded his remarks. Santorum will have a public meet and greet at CPAC Friday afternoon.
